This 30-day journal is for anyone in the thick of something (illness, jobless, divorce, grief, heartbreak).
Fundamentally, it was created out of sheer necessity. Because I would often forget to eat, exercise or "check in" with myself, I kept a notebook (a nothing-fancy, spiral-bound notebook!) where I would track my physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being while I stayed at the hospital with my daughter -- which typically was for weeks at a time. As most caregivers and mothers can attest to, "self-care" is usually the very last thing on our minds, yet, it is truly the most central to our capacity to serve others well.
Eventually, I decided to create something "beautiful"-- a beautiful journal that ultimately serves not only as a centering practice on its own, but it reminds the journaler to remain grateful for it all.
